The dream of publication began for Kevin at the tender young age of nine when his father helped him discover and read The Hobbit, his first fantasy book. That obsession continued throughout his schooling. In the fourth grade he was scolded by his teacher for reading books that were “too big”. In the sixth grade he participated in the regional Power of the Pen short story contests. He has been writing on his own ever since, and graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in English, focus in Creative Writing, in 2007.
Since, he has been working on networking with published authors and other aspiring writers, as well as his first fantasy novel. He has been working as a bike courier and freelance writer to stay afloat. He is a founder and regular contributor to The Flashy Review where he is able to throw around his lofty opinions about his other great love, video games.
